Students
Our teachers always come ready to teach and we expect our students come ready to learn. Since lessons are private, they can be customized to your personal goals. Keep your expectations realistic. Mastering an instrument does not happen overnight.
Remember: Practice makes perfect. It is important that you practice and complete the given homework before your next lesson. Failing to do so will slow your progress.
To parents and/or guardians with children who need to be picked up after their lessons, please be punctual. Most of our lessons are booked back-to-back and some days, all of our lesson rooms are completely occupied.
We are excited to create music with you and thank you for your cooperation with our policies!

Tips for Learning an Instrument
First, figure out what instrument you want to be good at. Some people may be able to juggle multiple instruments at the same time, but for people just starting, keeping it simple is the way to go.
One of the most important parts of learning an instrument is consistency. You don't need to spend all your time learning - in fact, that can be said to be unintuitive for a lot of people. Instead, eke out some time every day to practice. This helps avoid burnout and helps you progressively improve.
When practicing, develop good habits to help aid your improvement, but also your comfort. By practicing in short blurts, you are at a lower risk of experiencing strain from repetitive motions, a common issue that plagues a lot of musicians. Be sure to give your hands a rest from time to time.
While practicing, make sure to not put too much pressure on yourself to get better. At times, you may experience a strong wave of improvement; and yet, at other times, you may find yourself stagnating, or struggling in areas you didn't before. This is a normal part of the learning process, something most people will go through along their journey.
