Nick McConnell

Guitar, Piano and Voice Teacher

Nick is a multi-instrumentalist/singer-songwriter, recording artist, and music educator with a B.A. in Music Education from Bloomsburg University. Nick has been teaching private lessons since 2008.

Nick's enthusiasm for sharing the joy of music creates a fun and engaging environment.  His curriculum combines the wants and needs of his students with the necessities of instrumental study.  The combination yields a curriculum that educates and guides his students toward reaching their musical goals.

Nick graduated cum laude from Bloomsburg University in 2008 and received the music department's Outstanding Student Musician award.  In addition to being a music educator, Nick also performs as a recording artist. In 2011, he won the Boston area Mike Davidson songwriting competition.  This gained his acceptance into the Plaid Dog Recording Artist Sponsorship Program, resulting in the recording of his debut professional album.

Throughout his career, Nick has taught music privately and in the classroom. His experience has provided him the opportunity to work with students of different ages and backgrounds at every skill level.

Nick is available Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.
